Jacob Bedrossian receives 2019 IMA Prize

The IMA Prize by the Institute for Mathematics and its Applications, University of Minnesota, is awarded annually to a mathematical scientist who received his/her Ph.D. degree within 10 years of the nomination year. This award recognizes an individual who has made a transformative impact on the mathematical sciences and their applications.

The 2019 IMA Prize has been awarded to Jacob Bedrossian for his important contributions to the study of partial differential equations of fluid dynamics and in particular to the area of hydrodynamic stability.
